New Features

• Introducing Video Editing. After recording your screen, you can trim the footage, or add zoom effects, speed adjustments, and a variety of background images, colors, and gradients. The zoom feature is especially flexible: you can select exactly which part of the video to zoom in on, and customize options such as the zoom level and how long the zoom is displayed.
• Added: the ability to use Presenter Overlay Text, a feature that lets users display their own custom text alongside the Presenter Overlay during screen recording, which shows the user's video on top of the screen recording. Related settings can be configured under Settings > Recording > Advanced > Show Presenter Overlay > Setup.
• Added: a shortcut key for Click Highlighter under Settings > Shortcuts > Utilities.
• Added: the ability to use Click Highlighter system-wide, expanding the previous "Show Mouse Click Effect" feature beyond screen recording to work anywhere on macOS, consolidating its options (now found under Settings > Advanced > Click Highlighter) with a new Shape option supporting Circle, Rounded Rectangle, Asymmetric Rectangle, Triangle, Diamond, and Trapezoid, and adding support for detecting secondary clicks with a distinct color applied to them.
• Added: the ability to pause/resume, restart, and delete recordings in Screen Recording, along with a menu item for easier access to Screen Annotation
• Added: the ability to prompt for a custom file name every time a screen capture is taken in Settings > Advanced.
• Added: the ability to instantly translate captured screenshots, along with a keyboard shortcut for quick access. (Translation requires macOS 15 or later.)

• The Settings > Recording > Advanced > Show Mouse Click Effect option has been renamed to Use Click Highlighter during Screen Recording.
• The Settings > Recording > Advanced > Show Mouse Click Effect > Options section has been consolidated into the Settings > Advanced > Click Highlighter options.

Fixed

• Fixed: an issue where the Presenter Overlay window would not update when adjusting the aspect ratio of the selection area while the Presenter Overlay was being displayed.
